L’Alto rappresentante Ue Josep Borrell ha invitato a Bruxelles il ministro degli Esteri iraniano Mohammad Javad Zarif.
Lo riferisce una nota del servizio di azione esterna della Ue, precisando che Borrell ha invitato Zarif nel corso di una telefonata tra i due dove si è parlato dei recenti sviluppi in Iraq con l’Ue che ha esortato Teheran a evitare una escalation nella regione e dell’importanza di preservare l’accordo sul nucleare.
